The Hotel Nikko is located on a downtown corner, one block from the cable cars and three blocks from Union Square. The dramatically designed Museum of Modern Art is five blocks away. This contemporary hotel is Japanese owned and operated, and has a distinct Asian influence to its design and décor. The amenities here are notable and include a well-equipped, 24-hour fitness center that looks out onto a Japanese roof garden, and a glass- enclosed pool and spa. The complimentary health club features separate saunas for men and women, and massage services are also available. The onsite restaurant is part steak house, part sushi restaurant, with a sushi & sake bar inside. Hotel Nikko also features a fully staffed business center, which offers an extended range of business services. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby.
Dressed in soft colors and influenced by Asian design, the guestrooms have floor- to-ceiling windows, some framing city and bay views. From Oakland Airport:
