 The Mark Hopkins Inter-Continental is a gracious, luxury hotel situated at the top of Nob Hill. Noted architects pronounced the Mark Hopkins architecturally perfect when it was built in 1926. The 19-story hotel is a combination of French chateau and Spanish Renaissance styles, embellished with elaborate terra cotta ornamentation. The hotels central location in this compact city makes it convenient to most area attractions. Just step right outside the front door to ride one of San Francisco's fabled cable cars.
Guest rooms are newly renovated and decorated in rich, warm colors. All are elegantly appointed with abundant amenities. The hotel has 3 onsite restaurants, including the famous "Top of The Mark" bar and restaurant, which offers fantastic views of the city and the bay.
