The Omni San Francisco is a deluxe hotel, situated in the heart of San Francisco's thriving financial district. This 1926 17-story building maintains its Florentine Renaissance look while being equipped with all the latest in modern amenities. The Omni enjoys a prime location on the cable car line and the hotel is only a short walk to Chinatown, Union Square and the Embarcadero Center. Newly opened in 2002, the hotel offers a full range of services and outstanding facilities, including a 1,500 square feet, full service health club.
The guest rooms feature classic, traditional 1920s decor with high ceilings and crown molding, while the bathrooms are appointed in marble. The rooms are equipped with high-tech amenities, including high-speed Internet access and LodgeNet movies. Room service is available from the onsite restaurant, "Bobs Steak and Chop House". The hotel bar is convenient to the cable car stop and features expansive windows in a comfortable, elegant atmosphere. The Omni staff is professionally trained to cater to the needs of the guests as they arise. The Omni San Francisco is convenient to many dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
NOTE: This hotel is experiencing a strike of hotel workers, (including cooks, room cleaners, bartenders, bellmen, food and beverage servers, bussers, and dishwashers). Replacement workers are in place, and an end date has not been decided. Until then, guests may encounter picket lines upon entering, and some services may be affected.
