Located on Theatre Row, near Union Square, the Savoy Hotel has been called, "One of the ten best small hotels in the city that invented them" by Travel & Leisure Magazine. A romantic, European-style boutique hotel, the Savoy offers a great central location from which to explore the city's attractions. Hailing back to 1913, the Savoy has been thoroughly updated, but still retains charming elements and appointments of its original design. One of the more modern highlights of the Savoy Hotel is the highly acclaimed, onsite restaurant, Millennium, which serves an eclectic menu of vegetarian and environmentally friendly dishes. The Savoy Hotel also offers a complimentary wine and cheese reception for its guests, each afternoon.
The guest rooms feature a European-influenced décor, and quality mahogany furnishings. The luxurious feather beds are made up with fine fabrics, and goose-down pillows. The guest rooms have functional windows that open, and a ceiling fan, but no air-conditioning. More modern conveniences include a personal safe, cable TV and a fully-stocked mini-bar. For intimate accommodations in a great location the Savoy Hotel is a fine choice.
