One of the last survivors of colorful, turn-of-the- century San Francisco, The Westin St. Francis is centrally located on Union Square, with a cable car stop at the front door. A landmark since 1904, this hotel is renowned for its service, and the Westin St. Francis was recently named to Conde Naste Travelers "Gold List". A recent $65 million restoration brought additional services to this classic hotel. The hotel's magnificent lobby, with marble columns, gilded ceilings, and crystal chandeliers, leads to an arcade of exclusive shops and is home to the famed Compass Rose lounge, a long-time fixture of the hotel and popular meeting point. The hotel also features two fine dining restaurants, as well as a coffee bar. The Westin St. Francis now has a full service spa facility, offering a full range of popular therapeutic and beauty treatments. The hotel also features a large fitness center with cardio machines and free weights, separate women's and men's saunas and locker rooms.
Each of the guest rooms has been recently renovated and carefully appointed with new furniture, including Westin's famous Heavenly Beds, Heavenly Baths, in-room safes, and state-of-the-art safety upgrades. For those traveling to San Francisco for shopping, business or taking in the attractions, the Westin St. Francis offers luxurious accommodations in a prime, convenient location.
